Love Bucket: I Love You Dialogue between Husband and Wife
Wife: I Love You.
Husband: I Love You.
Wife: Prove it! Tell the world!
Husband: *whispers in ear* I Love You.
Wife: Why’d you whisper it to ME?
Husband: Because you are my world.
Perhaps you’ve seen the dialogue, above, being passed along in email, Facebook, or other social medium. It falls under the category of the recognition ring of desire and the contact ring of desire of The Love Bucket. Contact because one form is words and recognition because it all about “you.”
This may not work for every woman. The public/private aspect is one of the considerations of the love bucket. She may really need validation by you, as her man, telling the world that you love her.
One of the regular issues that men have with their own love bucket is recognition of being a good husband. Not just a good provider, or a good father, or a good handyman, or even a great lover, but a GREAT HUSBAND. Ladies, if you are reading this find out what he wants to hear in this regard. It may not be words, he may want actions.
There is a formula to filling the love bucket. You need to observe to and apply the considerations. Every person has a unique set that fills their love bucket.
Valentine’s Day is coming up so put a little more effort into figuring out your special guy or gal’s desires. Guys, you can take THE MAN CLASS and get a jump start.

Love Bucket Australia Adventure with Devin

After listening to a speaker at the Abacus Conference in Cairns, Australia, Devin’s biggest take away was about filling the love bucket – not her love bucket as in for a woman, but the love bucket for your team.
1. Praise for Effort: “You did…”
2. Appreciation: “Thanks for…..”
3. Recognition: Rewards and Stuff
4. Touch: Gentle pats
5. You: Attention and Listening.
Notice the acronym?!?!?! => PARTY!
For me, I would say I like 3 and a 5.
3 – Recognition Ring of Desire of The Love Bucket
Devin says he did a lot of work today on Emotional Intellisense, something we all need to continue to improve on. One of the great quotes that came from our instructor was, “Leaders that are mindful of the moment will always get higher level of performance.” Isn’t that the truth! She also talked a lot of being mindful of your words (The Love Linguist agrees). I know this is something I want to continually work on. Concentrate on supportive words to get better understanding and by in from people.
It’s been a great experience so far, and I am sure tomorrow will be the same!

Hearts, dates, and the relationship status, “in a relationship” on facebook is one of the life events that gets everybody talking. And even more so when it is the guy to posts this photo and adds it to his facebook timeline live event. That fills her love bucket! A proclamation of love is him claiming her as his.

So what does this have to do with the Rings of Desire of the Love Bucket?
The Recognition Ring of Desire is when a woman wants to be recognized and that can come in the form of verbal recognition, such as a compliment or words of love such as “I love you.”
The guys who are in the dating dynamic use a lot of compliments which is when you are in physical proximity and face to face situation:
1. How she carries herself or how shy moves. Most men enjoy a woman who moves beautifully or who has great posture. Tell her: "I just wanted to tell you… I think you have perfect… posture. You just carry yourself so beautifully."
2. How she is dressed. Compliment on her style. Say: "I just wanted to tell you… I admire women with class and style and that’s definitely you…"
