Valentine’s may be over but dating and love are always hot topics.

If you’ve dated online, then you probably experienced being asked out via text message.
If you use Twitter, you may have sent a 140-character declaration of love. Compared with a sonnet on perfumed parchment, it doesn’t seem very romantic.

Mobile-tapping tweets, texts, facebook, and the latest pinterest, keep hands busy but not with a pen.

Paul Walker, 25, used texts to create the perfect anniversary gift for his girlfriend, Elizabeth. He created a calendar that tracked the chronology of their relationship, using only their text messages.

As he was making the calendar, Walker, who lives in Brooklyn, converted his chats with her into a text document — 1,200 pages long. Though the mass of messages was intimidating, the finished calendar showed the arc of their relationship. "It ended up creating a rather emotional thing," says Walker. Texting technology helps not just the enamored though. If a romance goes sour, your smartphone or iPhone can take all the effort out of writing a Dear John letter. We all know someone who’s been dumped via text message.

If a woman doesn’t feel truly loved and adored then she gets "bitchy" and "demanding" and wants you to spend a bunch of money on her. But REAL romance is cheap.

 

If you really want her to swoon (and get out of the romantic dog house you’ll get into if you don’t do anything at all) you need to bring her down the "golden path" of romance . . .

That means teasing her . . .

Seducing her . . .

Making her feel like the most special woman in the world . . .

And to me the EASIEST way to do that is

The good news is that sending a text does show you are putting in effort. But, if it is out of character for you’re and you use the “magic texts” prewritten for you… it may backfire.

Texting is certainly the easy way to go.

Love Bucket makes a Freudian Click!

A Freudian Click just made the word of the day taking its basic meaning from the well-known “Freudian Slip” of the tongue.

The Contact Ring of Desire of the Love Bucket takes several forms.  One of those forms is electronic contact.  Urban Dictionary gave “Freudian Click” the Urban Word of the day with the meaning sending an email to someone by mistake.

The example, “A second after I hit ‘send’, I realized that I made a Freudian Click and emailed a love note to my ex instead of my girlfriend.  So embarrassing. ”

What’s interesting about Freudian Click is NOT that it mirrors a Freudian slip, also called parapraxis, which is an error in speech, memory, or physical action that is interpreted as occurring due to the interference of some unconscious  wish, conflict, or train of thought ("dynamically repressed" but not the 5 Love Dynamics). The concept is thus part of classical psychoanalysis.

What’s interesting about Freudian Click is that there are 3 entries and this one, today’s word of the day, just sprinted to the winning line after being in the dictionary since Sep 24, 2008.

The moral of this story, good things take time.  So does cultivating love which is part of the 5 Love Dynamics.

Freudian Click is a reflection of our current society particularly texting and sexting.  You can use your cell phone to send mobile messages.  That is one way to fill the love bucket!  Modern day love letters all the way to red hot dirty talking texts – you decide how hot it will get.
